Accommodation

The Institut Parisien strives to make your stay as pleasant as possible. The quality of your accommodation plays a major part in making your time with us a successful and happy one.
With that in mind, our housing service is at your disposal and will select the most suitable type of accommodation according to your requirements.

1. Accommodation Fees are 80 € - there are non-refundable in case of cancellation.

2. Terms of payment: The total amount of accommodation has to be paid before student's arrival.

3. Cancellation conditions:

  • If cancellation will be made more than 8 days before arrival, one week of accommodation has to be paid for
  • If cancellation will be made less than 8 days before arrival, 50% of the total amount has to be paid for
  • Any stay already started has to be paid for.

STUDENTS UNDER -18 : a parental discharge is obligatory to stay with a host family. We ask parents and children to sign the parental discharge of the school. This discharge has to be sent back to the school before the student's arrival. Underage students have to respect the hours as agreed on the charter. Any abusive behaviour disrespecting those rules may lead to an expulsion from the host family, without refund and under the parents responsibility.

Choose your type of accommodation from the different options:

Homestay

For the total French experience, the homestay option with a French family would be best suited to your needs:

  • The half-board (5 dinners per week) option is ideal for those wishing to practise their French.
  • The Bed and Breakfast option leaves you with greater independence whilst still enjoying the hospitality and friendliness of your hosts.

All host families live within the centre of Paris and are carefully selected by Claire and Eléonore specialised in host family accommodation.

The student charter: Our host families welcome all students in compliance with our quality policy. We also expect students to adapt themselves and respect their host family. You will find all useful information in our student charter. We ask you to read, to sign and to send it back to the school before your arrival.

Hotels

Whether on your own or accompanied, a choice of 2 or 3-star hotels are available (single or double room). These fully equipped hotels are located right in the heart of Paris within reasonable proximity to the Institut Parisien.

Aparthotel

The aparthotels are fully equipped flats with hotel service.

Booking :  you can book directly by email. Do not forget to mention you study at the Institut Parisien to get a special rate (11 residences in Paris, from 83 to 156 euros per night, for a minimum of 4 nights).

Hostels

(available from July to September - for a miminum of 10 days)

Located at the Cité Universitaire (University Campus) in the 14th district about 30 minutes by metro from the Institut Parisien.

  • Meals available on campus
  • Bedding provided
  • Telephone available for in-coming calls
  • Wash basin in each room. Shower, toilets and hotplates available on every floor

Due to the high demand for this type of accommodation during the summer period, we strongly recommend you to book several weeks in advance of your arrival date.

International Students Residence

(available from July to September)

The residence is located in Arcueil (South of Paris) about 40 minutes by metro from the Institut Parisien and 8 minutes from the centre of Paris (St Germain des Prés).

  • Bedding provided
  • Bathrooms, toilets, kitchenette

Due to the high demand for this type of accommodation during the summer period, we strongly recommend you to book several weeks in advance of your arrival date.
