Enrolment

You must of course be an au pair to submit a pre-enrolment application for these classes.

The criteria to be fulfilled will vary according to your nationality. Please take note of these criteria by referring to the table below. You may or may not need a visa.

Au pair requiring a visa

or a placement agreement (pre-enrolment application)

You must be an au pair to submit a pre-enrolment application. We recommend that you make inquiries with the competent authorities (au pair placement agencies, your local French Consulate, the Direction Départementale du Travail et de I'Emploi – Departmental Directorate of Work and Employment or the Préfecture de Police – Police Headquarters) before organising your stay in France.

Following the submission of your pre-enrolment application, the Institut Parisien will send confirmation of receipt and the price of your stay by email. You will then be asked for a deposit of 50 % of the term + enrolment fees to confirm your enrolment.

Au pair not requiring a visa

You do not need to pre-enrol. You can complete your enrolment at the Institut from September 1st 2012 onwards.
