of Attendance
The
certificate of attendance states the type, level and length of the course
being followed.
The certificate is given on request to students who have attended their
lessons on a regular basis and who have taken an active part in lessons
during their time spent at the Institut Parisien.
TEF
(Evaluation Test of French)
The “TEF” is designed to assess the level in the French language
of people who are not native French speakers.
The Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry awards an attestation of the
candidate’s level of French which acts as a reference for educational
institutions and also for the business sector in recruiting staff.
The Institut Parisien is an official examination centre accredited by
the Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
All students enrolled on either intensive courses or the au pair programme
have the possibility of taking the TEF.

D.E.L.F (Diplôme d'Etudes en Langue Française)
D.A.L.F (Diplôme Avancé de Langue Française)
The Institut Parisien also offers DELF and DALF preparation courses.
The DELF and DALF are the only diplomas of French as Foreign Language officially recognised by the French Ministery of Education.

The
French Certificate of Tourism and Hotel Industry - (CFTH) Certificat
de Français du Tourisme et de l’Hôtellerie
This examination is
designed for students enrolled on the Au pair programme having chosen
the Hotel and Tourism Industry option.
Students must have followed the preparation lessons throughout the whole
academic year to be eligible to sit the examination.
The examination is designed to test basic communication skills in professional
situations linked to Tourism and the Hotel Industry either in France or
abroad.
Business
French Diploma, 1st Degree level - Diplôme de Français
des Affaires, 1er degré, DFA 1
This examination is
designed for students enrolled on the Institut Parisien’s Au pair
programme having chosen the Business French option.
Students must have followed the preparation lessons throughout the whole
academic year to be eligible to sit the examination.
The examination is designed to test the student’s aptitude to use
French efficiently in a professional context relating to French companies
and economy.
